What Auguste Carpentier dislikes about Abacus:
$40 for two tick cut pieces of bacon, a couple of sausages, one egg, and two slices of toasted bread, a bit overpriced, and coffee is super small and cold. Thanks god for the awesome Maccas coffee across the road. Staff was very friendly though.
Having missed the brunch menu we came in for a late lunch / early dinner when the menu changes over at 3pm.
I went here on the recommendation of a friend after seeing photos of the pumpkin croquette and Chilli scrambled eggs.
Gorgeous, high ceilings, leafy cafe with warm, modern designCoffee is good, but service is inconsistent.
A really chic and upbeat restaurant with fresh food created. A good range of choices for both vegans and meat lovers. Loved the hospitality from the staff when we dined in a summer night and they kept the ice chips coming!
The meal was exceptional, especially the ricotta dumplings. It was the best dining experience I've had in Melbourne.
