Description

A recent visit to Ikea highlights the restaurant's inconsistencies. While some diners appreciate the affordable and enjoyable options like the hotdogs and chips, others report major disappointments, particularly with the overcooked pasta and poor service, underscoring a lack of attention to detail. Friendly staff members provide assistance, enhancing the overall shopping experience. However, a few complaints about cleanliness, unhelpful service, and insufficient supplies, such as plates and milk for coffee, suggest that improvements are needed. Overall, while Ikea’s restaurant has potential, it requires a consistent commitment to quality and service to meet customer expectations.

Ordered the Birriani and can honestly say I have seldom tasted anything quite so disgusting. Completely over spiced and full of sweet raisins yuk !

Paid £10,000 for an IKEA kitchen last year and have been left with multiple faulty issues that are yet to be corrected. I have contacted IKEA multiple times to be told someone will get back in touch which never happens. I have emailed management and no one is helping.

I would just like to say the lady in the cafe serving the food was very rude with no customer service skills the way she spoke to me you would think she was purchasing my lunch for me not even a please or thank you Maybes the staff on the tills could give her some training as they were lovely and after a brilliant experience with jenny at the furniture department this is such a let down to your company manners costs nothing and could make a big difference to the customers experience

Today, I received kind assistance from Terry at the store. I have mobility issues and he helped me with my purchases to the car. He was very cheerful. Then I went to the restaurant, where Aly kindly took my order and brought the food to my table. The girls at the register and cleaning tables were all very kind and helpful. They are a credit to Ikea. I would recommend avoiding shopping on Saturdays if possible, as it can get very busy.
