Tower
Menu
The restaurant from Edinburgh offers 420 different dishes and drinks on the menu for an average price of £78.
The Tower in Edinburgh offers a mixed dining experience, with some diners reporting both positive and negative aspects. While the food received mixed reviews - with some dishes considered very good and others just mediocre - the service was a commonly highlighted issue, with some describing it as terrible and uninterested. The location of the restaurant, although it offers a view of Edinburgh Castle, was disappointing to some as they felt cheated by not having a clear view. In contrast, other diners praised the excellent service and attentive staff, as well as the fantastic food. With a mix of opinions, it seems that The Tower's dining experience may vary depending on individual preferences.

What Anonym dislikes about Tower:
my friend chose tower as a destination for her birthday dinner. we arrived a little early and the welcome desk in the museum called so that someone was willing to welcome us at the top floor. it was very quiet, but was not surprising for a Monday evening, especially at this time of the evening and in the january. it was a scandal that the reflection of the restaurant lights meant that it did not photograph well to sh... I visited the Tower Restaurant as I was part of a wedding party who booked a section of the restaurant for afternoon tea.
Good food, beautiful view. Felt a little rushed as the waiter kept asking, KEPT asking if we were ready to order.
The food while delightful to look at it in terms of presentation was mediocre overall in quality.
Excellent setting, tasty menu and cocktails. Great service. Pricey though! But A+ for overall quality and experience.
There was some good and unfortunately, not so good with our meal. Everything would of been better if we had good service, but it was awful. I just don’t think our waitress cared or she was completely disinterested in making a pleasant experience for us. We started with the oysters and they were very good. For the main dishes, the sea bass and cod with chorizo were also very good. Everything was just mediocre, and for the price it should of been outstanding. We had gone for the view of the castle, but we were seated in an area that you couldn’t see the castle, so we were bummed about that too. We won’t go back.
