We enjoyed delicious meals and had a wonderful experience with most of the staff, although one waitress was an exception. It's unfortunate how one person's attitude can affect the overall experience. Fortunately, the evening ended on a high note thanks to an outstanding male staff member who went above and beyond to help us secure a cab back to our motel. A huge thank you to him! Lovely friendly staff but awful food. There was a mix up with our meals so that only one meal was cooked. The manager was quick to come and apologise and offer my husband another beer on the house. Really nice. My lambs fry and bacon was drowned in gravy... Hard to tell what was what. My lambs fry was red and mushy. Just revolting. I'm not sure how they continue to get it right, but somehow they just do. We had dinner for a 60th birthday and we were among 5 other groups celebrating birthdays. Still our food was delicious and served in a very timely manner. The recipe for success at the Echuca Hotel is flawless and the ingredients should stay the same.
Marguerita pizza was amazing!! Looking fwd to returning for another! Beer garden was lovely in the sun and staff were lovely
I guess if you need somewhere basic to stay this would be okay It's just another very generic, soulless apartment hotel.
The motel offers modern, well-equipped, and clean rooms located next to the Campese River. The rooms are situated behind the hotel on the main street, making it an easy walk to Echuca Port and other attractions in the city. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this accommodation.
I ordered two lunch specials, both priced over $30. I opted for the Stuffed Calamari with Mexican rice and Chili Marmelade. Unfortunately, the calamari was rubbery, the rice tasted bland and was sticky, and the chili jam had no flavor at all. I called the waiter to explain my disappointment, but he took my meal away without offering any alternatives. I ended up watching my partner eat while I remained hungry. The service was poor and we left without receiving a refund. I do not recommend this restaurant.
