I discovered this hidden gem while visiting friends in the area, and I was thrilled to find out that they will be open on Saturdays and Sundays after Thanksgiving. I have been to Mountain Eats four times now, and it has been a fantastic experience each time. I have gotten to know the owner, chef, and staff, all of whom are wonderful and do an excellent job. At first we loved this place, as we are locals and it is nice to have food so close to home. However, recently the service is horrible and food quality has gone WAY DOWN. Came in for dinner couple weeks ago and asked to the alfredo, was told that they were all out. The people who were seated after us and their order was taken after ours was able to order the alfredo. They have closed down. We showed up there multiple times to eat however after the last time someone confirmed they were closed for good. Don't make the trip
I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend and had a wonderful meal. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious bacon cheeseburger. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly.

I found out they will be open Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving I found this hidden treasure while visiting friends in the area. I have been there 4 times now and well worth it! I now know the owner, the chef and staff. They are all wonderful and do a great job. The food is very good and definitely worth a stop every time. I highly recommend Mountain Eats and it's on my top 10 list of eateries. I will be back every time I'm in the area guaranteed.
The food here is always amazing, we ordered a whole pie and they did not have a to go pan so she let us take her mom’s glass pie pan home. Where else would get this other than small town foothills. We love this place! The pan will be coming back clean and ready for another pie. This peach pie is great! Thank you so much!
