We enjoyed an exceptional late lunch at Danagher’s. Edward, our bartender and server, provided outstanding service. Sitting by the fire on a chilly Irish day made for a perfect setting. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and served in just the right portions. I highly recommend visiting for a pint and a meal in a warm, inviting Irish atmosphere. View all feedback.

Don’t be fooled by the TripAdvisor price range—most dishes here are under €10. Everything is freshly made, full of flavor, and juicy! The sauces taste truly homemade too. There’s also a cozy seating area upstairs where you can relax and enjoy your tasty burger or salad!
This restaurant was strongly recommended by the nearby campsite. The food was excellent, and the Guinness was incredibly fresh. The staff were fantastic. Certainly a place I would recommend.
Stayed at Danagher's on 14/8/2025. The hotel is lovely, with clean rooms and a delicious dinner. The check-in staff were very friendly, especially a blonde-haired young man—I didn’t catch his name—but he was incredibly kind and helpful, even carrying our bags to the room. Unfortunately, the breakfast service wasn’t as pleasant; the woman serving breakfast wasn’t very friendly, didn’t say good morning, just pointed to a table and banged everything down. Another downside was that our room faced the front of the hotel, and from around 6 a.m., there was a lot of noise from the traffic.
I love this place! The atmosphere is wonderful, and Thomas the barman is a true gem—he always welcomes customers with a big smile or a cheeky wink when his hands are full. He alone makes the place feel so inviting. Ann, the other bar lady, is equally warm and friendly. You couldn’t ask for a nicer greeting from either of them. No complaints at all! The people of Cong and Mayo are genuinely kind and welcoming, so definitely pay Danagher’s a visit. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Clint and Anna
We enjoyed live music here while enjoying a Guinness. The waiter was very friendly, and it was a very pleasant atmosphere.
