O'donovan's - Clonakilty
O'donovan's
Description
O'Donovan's Hotel in Clonakilty offers a casual, rustic setting with friendly service. However, some customers found the food to be disappointing and overpriced. The seafood chowder received high praise, while the burgers and chicken goujons were lacking in quality and presentation. The lack of salad or garnishes on the dishes was noted. Despite mixed reviews on food quality and service speed, the historic atmosphere and family-friendly vibe were appreciated. O'Donovan's Hotel was also commended for its cleanliness, reasonable prices, and helpful staff. Overall, it is considered a hidden gem by long-time patrons.

The food was terrible cold veg fish far from fresh and 3 of us ordered sea food chowder starters and fish and chips main course after waiting 45 mins the fish and chips came and the chowder at the same time normally the starter is served first €70 euro meal was a let down we used to go there every year after the clonality old time fair never again all the staff in the part we ate in were only out of school and hadn't a clue
Ok for a quick bite and that's what it's meant to be. Sandwichs on sliced pan belongs in the past.
