As a first-time visitor, I have always passed by this restaurant but never tried it until now. I decided to give it a go because I enjoy Portuguese cuisine. The location is great and the ambiance is very...

The waiter approached our table immediately after we were seated. We usually frequent restaurants in Newark, but we have now found our new favorite spot for enjoying delicious Portuguese cuisine. The chorizo and garlic...

This is such a great little spot—it's a cozy, classic place where every dish packs a lot of flavor. They also have a small bar with four seats that serves liquor. I highly recommend trying the garlic shrimp, ribs, and chicken!

Great spot for a relaxed afternoon meal. I had the beef ribs along with rice and fries. I recommend the platter for two, as three beef ribs aren't enough unless you're dining with children. Four ribs would be ideal to avoid any competition for the last one or having to split it. The portions are on the smaller side if you're a big eater, and while the sides are generous, the meat could be more substantial. The rice could use a bit more flavor in terms of seasoning, but not too much salt—just some added taste would be nice. The pricing is decent and fair, and the place is clean. The fries were cooked perfectly!
