Visit Chicago. Two days in a row. Love the Lamb Kadhai, Beef Bihari role. We wrote Chicago for amazing Desi food. Looks like Pak Sweets Chicago's on the map. Can't wait to try Biryani and Malpura. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Pak Sweets:
I cannot recommend this restaurant. We ordered the Beef Haleem ($16.99) and Chicken Biryani ($15.99). Unfortunately, we could barely find any beef in the Beef Haleem—just two or three tiny shreds, if that. The dish itself was an unappetizing paste with very little flavor. I absolutely love this place! I moved to Chicago three months ago from Brazil, and the only reason I look forward to Saturdays is so I can enjoy halwa puri and sweets at Pak Sweets. The staff here are so friendly and treat their customers with great care. I would definitely recommend trying it out!
I visited the shop based on a friend's recommendation, and I absolutely loved it! The sweets are delicious, and the samosas are really tasty as well. I believe they offer the best sweets in town. While the shop is small, the prices are quite reasonable, especially compared to some other places I've been to.
My friend and I visited this place and absolutely loved it. The staff is as kind as the delicious treats they offer. If you're from the south side like us, believe me, the trip is worth it!
Best And Fresh Sweet Shop In Chicagoland Under New Ownership Great Desi Food Additions Highly Recommend Homemade Style. Best Chicken Chargha In Town Must Try
I visited the restaurant for breakfast this morning with my family. I left a tip of over 22% for the waitstaff. When I asked the young man at the counter for a cup of hot water to take my sinus medication, he refused and suggested that I buy a chilled bottled water instead. I'm not sure what his reasoning was. Fortunately, the waitstaff lady was kind enough to bring me a cup of hot water later so I could take my medication. However, the young man at the counter, who looked to be around 16 years old, even went so far as to threaten her against helping customers with such requests.
