The restaurant in question offers a modern and inventive cuisine tapas-style experience, with a small and cozy atmosphere. However, some guests felt that the prices were too high for the small portions served. The menu is heavy on butter and cheese, which may not be suitable for those with dietary restrictions. On the bright side, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive, and the food is interesting, tasty, and well presented. Overall, the restaurant seems to have mixed reviews, ranging from disappointing experiences due to limited menu options and intrusive management to positive experiences with delicious dishes and good service.
Extremely cozy restaurant with excellent food. The best steak I've ever had. The crab ceviche and croquettes were also delicious. The food has been consistently incredible, and the atmosphere is trendy without being pretentious.
I've spent time in Bilbao and love all kinds of tapas. The food here is a cross between the traditional and contemporary. Wonderful experience. Not outrageous prices either.
What an incredible spot this is! I had visited many years ago and remembered it being really good but it has only gotten better as time has passed. I went with my family and we got to share about 6 dishes. The ratatouille was divine, the skate perfectlyseasoned and cooked, tasty lamb merguez, and the fideos were cooked in a highly addictive saffron cream sauce. The dessertdidn’t disappoint in the form of a basque almond cake. Excellent yet unpretentious service. The space is very intimate andcozy so make sure to make reservations.
Food was great, service was friendly, and loved the neighborhood vibe. We ordered several small plates to share, which were all delicious. The croquettes were SO good, and the bass crudo was so good we were debating a second order. Husband had wine and was pleased with it and I was looking for something NA. Our server recommended an off-menu ginger drink that was perfect. The coursing was off a tiny bit, but we were part of the initial dinner seating and had a concert later, so we ended up skipping dessert. But, had we not had the later obligation I don't think we would have been too worried about it. Will definitely be back to further explore the menu.
