Very good tapas and at a very affordable price. if the location is perfect, also, with a large terrace directly over the sea. but the most remarkable thing is the kindness and exquisite treatment you are treated with. with special mention for gin, the owner and tania. but all, kitchens and waitres included, distinguish for their treatment with the public. It's hard to recommend some dish, because everything is very good. one for the cooks. chips tortillas, garlic and parsley tortillas, paddle peppers, mussels, silver sepia, croquettes, Galician octopus, bravas potatoes, butifarra., everything is very good.
Very expensive for simple tapas. Wouldn’t have minded but the waitress was miserable and that spoilt the evening. The girl clearing the plates/glasses was charming but the waitress taking the orders obviously did want us or her to be there. Don’t be tempted by the view. There are many better choices in Cadaques.
Dinner is ok, but after we spend over 100,00 for the dinner with two person they brought us the invoice in the middle of our dessert, before we asked for it at all. Then they asked us very straight to leave the table, because of an other reservation. Very disappointing and not polite. Next time in Cadaques we will spend our money somewhere else. Incredible…
Honestly: 13 euros for a tapas dish that consists of 5 poor little shrimps and some burnt garlic is just sad. Plus on the menu, you clearly have the choice between prawn- for 13€ and shrimp- for about 4€ I ordered the Prawns and got the shrimps, and payed the prawns.
Bar L 'Estable is a great place to enjoy some tapas and a few glasses of tinto de verano or a a beer during the day or at night. They quality tapas and the service is always friendly and quick. We went here several times and the last time we were in Cadaques we also came here several times and what we like about a place is it has not changed and the quality of food and service is the same as last time several years ago.... Great!!!!. The gules ous baby eels with the quail egg is such a nice dish to share with you friends or your partner and who doesn 't like patas bravas which are done to perfection. Will continue to go here every time we go to Cadaques.
