I recently participated in the Jakes Ladies Golf Tournament and was extremely impressed by the warm and efficient service provided by the organizers, staff, and volunteers. It was a wonderful day of golf, followed by tasty appetizers, drinks, and a satisfying main course back at Jakes. The fried dishes had a burnt flavor, possibly from being cooked in rancid oil. After a storm, the restaurant had computer problems which made it impossible for us to pay with credit card or cash. Even after waiting for over 30 minutes, we were only given a small beverage, which they still charged us for. This was the most disappointing dining experience we had during our two-week trip.
