What User dislikes about Norwind's:
I went on a Saturday afternoon at 3p to approx. 7p customer service sued, the server did not seem to enjoy her job at all. Overall, the food was good, although it was a bit on the expensive side. We ordered the Alcapurrias, pernil, and pork chops served with rice and gandules. The rice was our least favorite part of the meal, as it could have used a bit more flavor.
The food and service were excellent! While I wasn't completely fond of the way the mofongo was prepared—since it wasn't traditional—it was still really delicious! The standout items for me were the morir soñando cocktail and the alcapurrias, which were both fantastic!
This is a fantastic, laid-back bar with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent, and the slushy drinks are spot on. The rum punch is delightful!
The food was bland. I had the jibarito sandwich and the meat had no seasoning. The mofongo with shrimp and the gravy for the mofongo needed salt and pepper. But the Isla platter was decent. I would eat that again.
