Yes, this café is understandably busy, but I managed to find a small table near the stairs. There isn't a wide variety of food, but there was enough for lunch. The sandwiches looked good! I am a supporter of the goals and values of the National Trust, so I find this restaurant to be acceptable, mainly because I feel my money is going towards a good cause. If it were not for being a National Trust site, I would not consider it worthy of a recommendation.
