Nestled conveniently by a busy road, this cozy coffee shack offers good pricing and popular menu items like donut holes and breakfast sandwiches. However, customer experiences vary widely. While some praise the friendly, knowledgeable staff and easy access, others report inconsistent drink quality and orders frequently mixed up. Several customers noted unhelpful service at the first order window, with staff lacking product knowledge and a welcoming attitude. Repeated order errors, especially with specialty drinks, led to frustration over wasted money. Improvement in staff training and communication could enhance this otherwise charming spot’s reputation.
Cute little coffee shack right off the busy road, so easy access. The workers there are always so friendly. Their coffee is well priced, compared to other places. If it's your first time, I recommend their donut holes or a breakfast sandwich.
Twice in a row my order was wrong, both times with the same drink, the Dr. Loco Nut. The first two times I had it, it was perfect, but these last two times they gave me Diet Dr. Pepper without telling me, which I couldn’t even finish. The second time, I asked for a small, but they charged me for and gave me a medium without confirming the order. They also forgot the lime, which is a key part of the Loco Nut drink. If they didn’t have lime, they should have told me.
I used to love coming to this restaurant, but my recent experiences with the service have been quite disappointing. When I asked the staff about their sugar-free flavors, the employee said there were too many to list and didn't want to share any with me. To make things worse, I was charged a dollar for a glass of water that I requested alongside my drink, even though I was with someone who didn't order water. When I called the store to ask about the water charge, I learned that it varies depending on the employee working that day, as to whether or not the water is complimentary.
This afternoon (September 25, 2022), I had a disappointing experience at the first window where orders and payments are handled. The employee working there was not only unfriendly but also unhelpful. Since I had only visited the restaurant once before, I had a few questions about the drink options. Unfortunately, she rolled her eyes at every question and was unable to provide any answers. Thankfully, she eventually called over a co-worker who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I believe that if someone's main job is to interact with customers, they should be well-versed in the products and greet customers warmly. It might be better for this particular employee to be in a role that doesn't involve direct customer interaction.
