the food was excellent, especially the sauces. an appetizer is recommended for getting tired, even if you have to grab a bit deeper into the pocket. with beautiful weather this is sitting on the terrace with views of the Rhine simply wonderful! the service was very friendly and accommodating. for special occasions absolutely recommended! Price for desserts and water too high in comparison to similar restaurants. limited menu. mixed feelings.
It is true a very weak service from the beginning to the end. problems in billing . it was not done when coming or when leaving the gaderobe.
If you know the old ambiente, you're disappointed today. it had to be renovated, but please with more style. so it looks in an Italian bistro, but not in a restaurant of this price class. firm benches, where is it? on the few chairs you sit well.
Unfortunately, the food fell far short of our expectations – especially considering the rather high prices. Neither the portion sizes nor the taste were convincing. The fish seemed undercooked, the pasta was served with almost no sauce, and the salad was noticeably under-seasoned. Furthermore, the meal caused us stomach problems afterward, which further marred the overall experience. This is particularly disappointing because both the restaurant's atmosphere and the staff were genuinely pleasant and welcoming. With better food quality, the entire experience could have been significantly more positive.
It took over an hour wait for the pasta after our starter. When we asked to the staff about it, they told food was ready and waiting. But then it took another 20 minutes and another complaint to receive the pasta’s while taking their time chatting to other clients. Food was average and we did not get any apologies at any point for the delay and the cold pasta’s. It’s a pity to have such a bad experience at a place that looks so nice.
