I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Blessing in Blessing, Texas. It truly lives up to its name! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the hospitality was outstanding. Just drove down to have lunch in this wonderful treasure. It is beautiful. Food drinks: The dining room is only open for breakfast and lunch but it is the best home style food around. And OMG if there is turnip greens on the buffet get them. It is made just like my grandma used to make. Made me very nostalgic.
This is a very old hotel that is a wonderful experience for anyone who wants to experience old southern charm and hospitality. I recommend eating in the restaurant. It is designed for you to sit at a table and meet new friends, both locals and visitors alike. If you leave hungry, you have no one to blame but yourself.
We stayed there years ago and went over when the had the buffet and on the motorcycle with about 20 friends
