This restaurant in Sydney's Western side offers authentic Javanese street food, with specialties like Pecel Lele, Tongseng, Nasi Padang, and Fried Duck. The food is prepared fresh to order and may take a little while, but it's worth the wait. Reviewers have praised the Jasmine rice, chili paste, and generous portions. While some dishes, like the Fried Duck, may not impress everyone, overall the food, service, and value are considered to be good. The establishment has been described as making Indonesian patrons feel at home with full flavors and satisfying dishes. The menu may not always be up to date, and it's recommended to call ahead, especially on weekends. Despite some occasional changes in trading hours, the addictive and delicious food, including dishes like Ayam Penyet and Nasi Padang, keeps customers coming back for more. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Indonesia in New South Wales, this restaurant comes highly recommended.
What Jacky Kerluke likes about Waroeng Ny. Soedarto:
For Indonesian like I was this restaurant the most authentic Indonesian taste in NSW. It had been twice or more here, maybe the taste management was consistent. Halal certified and good hospitality. Grief
Minus: The menu on the zomato was not updated, an hour train ride from CBD. View all feedback.
What Hailee Hagenes doesn't like about Waroeng Ny. Soedarto:
Craved for nasi Padang and decided to pay this place a visit. We ordered nasi goreng babat (level nasi ayam penyet komplit (fried chicken set), and nasi Padang with ayam (chicken) and beef rendang. Everything was totally delicious and very authentic. The taste brings you back to Indonesia. Also the portion is very generous! There’s a bit of a wait for some of the food, but totally worth it! Shout out to Ibu (the lady)... View all feedback.
