For Indonesian like I was this restaurant the most authentic Indonesian taste in NSW. It had been twice or more here, maybe the taste management was consistent. Halal certified and good hospitality. Grief
Minus: The menu on the zomato was not updated, an hour train ride from CBD. View all feedback.
What Hailee Hagenes doesn't like about Waroeng Ny. Soedarto:
Craved for nasi Padang and decided to pay this place a visit. We ordered nasi goreng babat (level nasi ayam penyet komplit (fried chicken set), and nasi Padang with ayam (chicken) and beef rendang. Everything was totally delicious and very authentic. The taste brings you back to Indonesia. Also the portion is very generous! There’s a bit of a wait for some of the food, but totally worth it! Shout out to Ibu (the lady)... View all feedback.
Currently, these business hours of this restaurant were updated: Grief Monday: 1300-2000 HRS Tuesday: 1300-2000 HRS Wednesday: 1300-2000 HRS Thursday: 1300-2000 HRS Friday: 1200-2000 HRS Saturday: 1200-2100 HRS Sunday: 1200-2100 HRS Grief If you order the food or bring family, call them better, especially on weekends as they are busy. Trade hours can also occasionally be changed as excuses. In general, people who had ever had eaten in this restaurant, addicted to food, so delicious, especially "penyet penyet", for example by Ayam Penyet, Pecel Lele, Bebek Penyet and Puyuh Penyet and more .. . Nasi Padang and Nasi Gudeg are also available daily. Further information about the menu can be found in the website. If you have friends, you can taste the Indonesian meal, I really recommend going to this restaurant.

After two failed attempts, I finally got the opportunity to try their food. Recommend giving them a call prior to making your trip to avoid disappointment. This joint provides authentic Javanese street food one of the very few in Sydney let alone Western side. Their specialties are : Pecel Lele, Tongseng (Javanese Blank soup), Nasi Padang, Fried duck. They also offer Nasi Gudeg albeit only available on weekends. Since the food is prepared fresh to order, it took a little while to come out but it is worth it. I am not a big fan of black soup so picked their Pecel Lele and Fried duck. The Pecel dish is really nice . First of all they use Jasmine rice which is my favourite. It comes with salad, Tofu and Tempe and let's not forget the Chili paste. She would ask your preferred level of heat before she start making it on the spot using mortar and pester. Unlike the Pecel Lele, the fried duck fail to impress me. Not only it is a bit dry, it also lacks the flavour I was looking for. Bottomline : Good food. Good service. Good value.
