I’ve eaten here twice now. My experience both times were EXCEPTIONAL. The food is truly a mouth watering burst of flavor party in your mouth!! I haven’t had something here that I didn’t like. The best lamb in Baltimore HANDS DOWN. The drinks are delicious and strong. The customer service is AMAZING. They are responsive, kind, and personable. Our waiter today was Aziz E and he was so engaging, which made the dining ex... View all feedback.
What Sofia Mante dislikes about Cazbar:
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience the splendor of authentic Turkish cuisine. However, because the prices aren't low, I specifically recommend that you go there for lunch and Ottoman 3-course lunch. That way you get to try several delicious dishes for $15.00. Plus, if you add $2.00 you get tea and a piece of Baklava. That is a pretty good deal. I do have to say that Baklava is not tha... View all feedback.
Honestly the best Turkish food I have ever had, and I have traveled to Turkey. I am not being melodramatic by saying every single thing we ate was amazing and the best I have ever had. The beyti kabob was so tender and flavorful; the grape leaves were obviously made by them, seasoned so well and not just purchased from a can like so many other places do; I never had lahmajun before but it was so crisp and perfectly made; I loved the manti and am excited to try the vegetarian version next time; and everything was so good we even decided to try the baklava cheesecake even though we were stuffed and not surprisingly it was also amazing!
This established was excellent. From the decor, to the service, to the food. Start to finish. The Turkish beer was great. We had the lunch special and it was great. Price point was excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Went with friends for a celebratory dinner. The place is beautiful, but extremely cramped. Tables and chairs packed with barely inches to spare. The service was... unpredictable. We had 3 different servers, only one of which knew what they were about, and once we received our entrees we didn 't see anyone again for almost 30 minutes (so no cocktail refills). The food was excellent, however, and I 've got no real complaints on that front. The baba ghanoush hummus were delicious, the bread was fresh and crispy. The meats, from the lamb to the chicken and kofte, were fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The desserts were also very good, tho I can 't really recommend the baklava cheesecake ; the texture was awful. The baklava itself was great, tho, definitely on par with the best I 've ever had. So yeah, I recommend it. Just be prepared for a crowded space and cocktails that are tasty but not particularly strong. Didn 't see the belly dancers... so no opinion could be formed. I had high expectations because of the reviews and expensive prices. This place disappointed me to say the least. Prices are way too expensive for this mediocre food. I’m sorry I have to be honest. The Dubai choclate bar fell apart as soon as I opened it(right after receiving it) and did not taste that good compared to others I’ve had. It had too much pistachio past and not enough kitafi, and choclate was too ritch. I also got the Adana Iskender, the meat was okay. Nothing special. The peta bread was so soggy and wet from the meat being on-top it tasted so gross and I couldn’t even finish it. I’m very disappointed. This was my first and probably last time trying. Attached picture of my soggy peta bread prices are WAY too high for the food that isn’t all that. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
