As a Texan, I believed it to be good, the meat was decently seasoned and the Cajun fries slapped. I brought my friend from New Jersey (home of the sandwiches apparently) and he was not the most thrilled. He got the chicken cheese, hoping it would mimic getting a buffalo chicken cheese from NJ.I do recommend this place though!
