Fred's Downtown Philly - Arlington

This place is a hidden gem in Arlington. The food was fresh and they were very attentive to my wife and I. Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews their philly’s were delicious and I’ll definitely be back to give them my business!

This place doesn't get enough credit for their quality of food their service. You'll get your food made to order, but it won't take long to get your food. We haven't had anything that wasn't good. Whatever you get, you cam rest assure that it'll be right. We'll be back again again.

Let me start off by saying if you live philly cheesesteaks or never tried one... go to this place. I'm from Philly so you can understand my excitement when I noticed this place across the parking lot here in Texas. My first bite took me back home. And the reason it did is because is an authentic cheesesteak. The owner I have been told is from philly as well so you are definitely getting the real thing. If your not into steak they have chicken....aaaand cheese ?s .....Go get u one...might see me there.Lots of shopping to do in the area so I know you'll be hungry ??...maybe I'll get a free cheeseteak for this review ??Parking: Depends on the day. It's a plaza parking lot so it may be hard to find a spot. But I'll tuck and roll out the car for this place!

GREAT FOOD FOR GREAT PRICE! AND RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE STADIUMS!

As a Texan, I believed it to be good, the meat was decently seasoned and the Cajun fries slapped. I brought my friend from New Jersey (home of the sandwiches apparently) and he was not the most thrilled. He got the chicken cheese, hoping it would mimic getting a buffalo chicken cheese from NJ.I do recommend this place though! It looked black owned and tasted very good to someone who never went to NJ lmao.
