Anglesea Fish And Chips - ANGLESEA
Anglesea Fish And Chips
Description
Located in a bustling area, this eatery garners mixed reviews for its fish and chips and bakery items. While some patrons rave about the crispy, well-prepared fish, others express disappointment over service quality and pricing, especially during public holidays. The atmosphere leans towards a takeout vibe, lacking comfort for in-house dining. Notably, the bakery section receives praise for its fresh salad rolls and delightful pastries, showcasing a friendly staff member who stands out among changes over the years. Overall, the establishment offers both reliable seafood options and bakery delights, but may require improvements in service and dining experience.

Nicest fish greasies I've had in a while. Flake are very generous size, actual flake, not just batter. Potatoe cakes were awesome, chips good. The containers of tomato tartare sauce could be bigger though
I got tea from here last night and it was a perfect 10 out of 10! It was the best fish and chips I've ever had. Thank you!
This fish and chips shop is pretty good. The fresh flake is well-battered, not dry, and there's no fishy smell. The potato cakes are fantastic—I ordered four, two for myself and two for my daughter. She liked them so much that she ended up eating one of mine! The chips are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
We stopped here on a hike for lunch, food was good but pretty expensive. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend trying their Fish and Chips. The dish was well-prepared, featuring crispy battered fish paired with perfectly cooked chips. Overall, it was a delightful meal that I would definitely order again!
