17.04.2025 - 21:51The food is good I just wish these guys were faster because tourists who come here have to catch a boat ride and other events. Halal gyro is supposed to be fast. Anyway the food is good I would recommend this place.

15.02.2025 - 11:18We had the opportunity to try Sans Souci under it 's new ownership and wow what an experience. We walked into the dining room and were immediately struck by the minimal use of air conditioning. The hostess told us to seat ourselves. We waited severalminutes for menus. When we finally fought our way through the diner inspired menu, we placed our orders. While we waited wewere subjected to way too loud 1950 ' 's music which impaired our ability to talk to each other while we perspired. When ourentrees arrived, the fiasco continued. I ordered the Lobster roll, which had come with about two tablespoons of finely choppedlobster in a roll who 's size overwhelmed the tiny serving of lobster it contained. Next was a burger with swiss cheese thattasted like it was spiced with lighter fluid. Finally, we had a grilled chicken sandwich with sauteed onions. The sandwich wasdescribed to me as eating an unseasoned hockey puck. I watched as our guest made several attempts to deconstruct andreconstruct the sandwich. Eventually, she gave up and ate what she could of the bacon and mushrooms. We washed all of thisdown in our warm, ice-free sodas. The one shining star of the meal were the French fries, which arrived hot, salty anddelicious. They were the only satisfying part of the meal. I don 't imagine that we will be returning to the Sans Souci. .

15.02.2025 - 11:18I've lived in this community for about eight years, and during that time, the Sans has seen numerous chefs and several owners. It used to be a local dive with inconsistent food quality at best. However, the new owners, a group of locals, have completely transformed this place for the better. The new chef, who hails from Lake Placid, truly knows how to cook, and it shows in the quality of the food and the revamped menu. Last night, I enjoyed the pulled pork sliders with rosemary french fries, and they were outstanding—definitely not your typical pub fare. The bar now features five local beers on tap, along with an extensive selection of microbrews in cans and bottles. My partner had the crab cakes, which were also excellent. Nick, the bartender, makes a fantastic and generously-sized Manhattan. With COVID-19 still a concern, the atmosphere felt safe inside; they've removed most of the bar stools and spaced out the tables. The staff were all wearing masks, and customers also wore masks when not eating. This place has had a negative reputation for years, but it definitely deserves another chance.

04.06.2023 - 12:58This is a gorgeous spot. You pull in and immediately hit the ranger/employee booth. THERE IS A FEE. I say it like that because someone answered a question on here saying there wasn't one. $4 per adult, $2 per kid (4-12? , our 1 year old didn't pay. Totally worth it in my opinion. Lots of grassy spots and two decent playgrounds. One for bigger kids and another for smaller kids, 2 sets of swings. Bath rooms and changing rooms. Looks like you can rent kayaks and other water sports equipment. Lots of picnic tables and grills. I think this is an amazing place to avoid all the drunk and rowdy college kids during the summer, I didnt see one. The water is a bay that has nice warm water and is very shallow. A really great place to bring little ones who can play in gentle and warm water. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there is no showers and there was a decent amount of trash we found throughout the sand (cigarette butts, shards of plastic, water bottles, wrappers .

14.05.2023 - 09:12Food is pretty good, customer service is too. Just 2 things: the food takes a lot longer than most people expect, delivery or eat in or takeout, we have done it all. The pizza is delicious but the crust is always really tough, almost chewy. Worth a visit, just don't go or order when you are starving already.

26.04.2023 - 15:57Great place to eat. Beautiful bright area with huge windows in the front, so you can get a good view with the sun. Food is very good. You must have the best domestic pommes I've eaten. I'm trying to go whenever I'm in the area.

26.04.2023 - 15:57Great experience all 'round. Server was pleasant, food was hot and well prepared. Prices were very reasonable. Took a little longer to get the food I ordered than seemed proper, but it wasn 't too long of a wait.

25.04.2023 - 18:35This charming little local spot is perfect for breakfast and lunch. You can enjoy your coffee from the self-serve station while reading the newspaper, and the breakfast options are delightful. They offer large sandwiches made with homemade bread, and I particularly loved the olive oil bread. The building has a bit of an old charm that could use some maintenance, but overall, the food quality is excellent.

21.04.2023 - 15:15For those familiar with my reviews, you know I am not one to easily give praise. However, I must say that Sawatdee truly impressed me and made my day. The Tom Yum soup was perfectly balanced, the chicken satay was amazing, and the pad Thai was spot on. The prices were very reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area.
