Most unfriendly pub. No spaces to sit so asked if we could sit upstairs. Barman said brusquely too late for food. Someone sitting at the bar sarcastically said “Ta ra” think they only like locals.

I ordered a cup of tea and a scone for £9. The scone was £5 and the tea was £4. I called Doune to confirm if I was charged correctly and was told that I was. The lady who served me was very friendly.

We have been visiting this restaurant for a few now has covered terrace. Very reasonable menu at 14.50€. The a la Carte is also reasonable. Friendly staff in rustic surroundings. Worth a visit.
