I came by bikes and wanted coffee, but the terrace was full. The corona security was taken seriously here, and I liked that. On the porch, there was room for a lonely bikeer. Also good ventilation and co2 meters to measure it. The coffee was good and the service was nice. Then I heard about my daughters. That they come here to eat sometimes, and that it was good here. The food was delicious and the ambiance had a very old-world charm.
Nice big cosy terrace, need to reserve on sunny days during popular times late afternoon and evening. Good selection of local cuisine (which isn 't very special, same 'croques etc. everywhere) but also some international dishes, e.g. great spareribs and burgers, great deserts and well known for it 's 'high tea '. Best place in Zutendaal.
Excellent hotel Staff very friendly and helpful spoke brilliant english and was really made to feel welcome will defintely stay here again
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and accommodating! A couple of things to keep in mind: For vegetarians wishing to have breakfast here, make sure to mention if you do not eat meat as the standard assortment may include it. Also, the rooms are very nice but be aware that the bathroom door and shower door are see-through, so if you are sharing a room, you will be on display to your companion.
I only stayed at this restaurant for a few days, but they were truly wonderful despite the gloomy and rainy weather. This was all thanks to the kindness and hospitality of the owner and staff. I would highly recommend it.
