Friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere and really good simple Italian food. Worth having a drink at the bar before or after your meal. Menu perhaps lacks choice but the food is always good! View all feedback.
What Michele Hostettler doesn't like about Totò:
The waiter tried to rip us off on the bill, changing us for 2x 0,5 liter wine, instead of giving us the price of a whole bottle. My friends very well knew the wine card and prices. That meant plus 30 chf on the bill....My friends are regulars and live nearby, they had heard about this waiter and knew he previously had been unreasonable to other regulars. But his rudeness still took us by surprise. His comment to our... View all feedback.
Service nice, locally beautiful and loud. food 3/5. does not suffice for (m) a repetition visit. The card sounds and reads well, but the served diners may not connect to the announced one. the gazpacho was sweet and the worst that I got this year in a local (and a gazpacho is now really not among the difficult dishes.) pulpo on fennel potato marsh was ok, but more also not.My vis a vis had an average pizza and an even average food salad.
Vlak bij het meer van zürich. art Deco-achtig interieur. vlotte bediening. de justen were okay. de prijzen zwitsers, dat wil zeggen hoog. duurder dan bijvoorbeeld op manhattan waar ik previous maand was.
Despite poor reviews of the bar and restaurants, this is well visited locally. we thought you could taste and it became a pleasant culinary surprise. the local is somewhat tightly chaired and loud, but it has a special charm. we'll try it again.
In the scale of the evaluation is lacking sufficient - I did not find it satisfactory. the fennel salad as an appetizer was imaginatively prepared, the avocado pieces could be searched in it and the dressing was too little matched to the taste of the fennel cut into quite large pieces. as the main course had my business partner and I rigatoni con nudja and were in agreement with the opinion that this was a good example for a chef who knows the difference between well seasoned and simply not sharply. the service was in order. price also ok - but in the round disappointing.
Despite the negative reviews, we went to a cozy evening in the ristorante deadò. we can't say anything negative about the service staff as well as the kitchen. the whole evening was a single joy. the appetizers were perfect and fresh, to the main course there was scaloppine a la limone and a pizza primavera, everything was cooked at the point and simply delicious. the service employees at the bar and in the restaurant were very attentive and accommodating. we will definitely repeat our visit.
