Stefs Freieck - Zürich

Had a fantastic meal here the other nights on the recommendation of some friends and we were not disappointed. This is a hidden gem in the middle of Zurich that is out of the main area a little but well worth tracking down. My entree was a delicious salad and the main course was a mouth watering ravioli. Only a limited option of meals are available because of the size of the kitchen. If you enjoy mouth watering dishes with a magical wine list that I highly recommend you give the small, intimate and outstanding restarunt a go.

This is one of the places you would never reveal to a foreigner... and whatever else is added to that comment just helps to fill the minimum requireent of words...

It's a real pleasure to sit in Stefs Freieck's intimate garden and eat truly delicious food. Although we are an "old" couple, it would be a great place to impress a date. The menu is classic European with fresh ingredients and imaginative composition. The service is attentive and timely. Meinrad takes the time to chat and laugh. It will be a memorable night for anyone who chooses to visit this gem of a restaurant.

Stefs Freieck is not a restaurant you happen to bump into. But it is definitely worth the small detour! The atmosphere is very friendly and intimate. The food selection is limited, however, this is a great plus! The food is excellent.

I went with a work colleague for an afterwork drink and we decided to go for dinner, as I'm not very familiar with the where to go and I usually go to the places I already know, I was pretty happy to explore a new place! So Stefs Freieck is super cute, it has max 10 tables and it is a bit hidden in the area of Seefeld. The menu is simple not very large, but the cook does an extraordinary job, the meat was tender and done to the exact right point! The vegetables as well delicious! The service super friendly and I felt very welcome, you should try that place of you are once exploring ZH!
