Sala-Thai Bahnhofli - Zürich

For people who love the real unadjusted Thai cuisine more than a styled local, one must! ingwer ente is wonderful as well as the currys, suppening, fishing or noodle dishes. the heart of the house stands itself in the kitchen with its niece. the different reports are rather based on the fact that the owner is staying in Thailand for some weeks and the quality then leaves a little. So ask before!

We were not in the Sala-Thai for about a year and now experienced a great disappointment. In 2010, this restaurant was characterized by its very tasty, rich in aromas and fresh kitchen. this has changed drastically: eating was oily and in fact the pad-thai (my favourite in this restaurant) had nothing to do with the one year ago. the personal is still friendly and the facility was still as for now (nearly).I wonder if they just have a nine cook/in.

We have already been masters when the restaurant was still in zürich. that was really great. we prefer to order the pad thai there (^ w !^) but since that has moved locally to männedorf, our opinion was only good upgrade - from the ambiente to the service and the food is still top.

Sala thai was recommended to me as a restaurant with very authentic eating by someone who has a strong relation to thailand. eating was good, but not world-wide. I would go again, but other restaurants in the opposite, also because the ambiente is not special. it is lacking warmth and the many tables that after the guests were still getting dirty/not tidy, do not help to feel comfortable. large plus compared to other Thai restaurants in the opposite is the good value for money.

Opposite the uetikon railway station is the restaurant Sala-Thai, operated by a Thai family. eating authentic Thai and wonderful uind also after a few minutes on the table - you feel like in Thai. at the end of the bill, you would have paid twice; especially on the expensive gold coast. my personal highlight! by the way they also take out, unfortunately simply without delivery service
