Wonderful restaurant in an older property with a lot of charm. When you enter, there are only eight tables at the front, but there are even more seats at the back. What Mila Vaquero doesn't like about Riviera:
The restaurant is very nice and looks lovingly furnished. We found the service to be unattentive and condescending. We were not given a pleasant feeling. There was only 1 vegetarian main course. The food was ok, but we didn't find it particularly special. The prices are usual for Zurich. View all feedback.

Top-notch food and wine. A very charming place and charming staff.
A friendly, humorous crew creates and cooks with the freshest dishes to a high standard. Both in terms of quality and price. It's always worth it.
We had reservation for four people but unfortunately a friend could not make it and this upset the staff who told us that we should have called and informed them. This is already a turn off. How could we predict such situation? While waiting for the staff to take our order, a friend pull out his “Essen gehn!” booklet and again we were being lectured that we should have mentioned the book when we reserved the table and because we didn’t mention it, they refused to take the book. Which should be totally fine if the attitude of the staff is much better. The only happy staff that night is Diana, the young Latvian lady who gave good positive energy in the room. The food was good but if one was not treated well by the staff, one wonders why should bother to come back.
Very good kitchen and amazing wine list although expensive! But unfortunately friendliness of servers doesn’t match the cooking!
