We came already for the Japanese omakase, but with the new broader Asian menu they have outdone themselves! The steamed oyster was the best we have ever had. The whole menu was exceptional, and the host as always incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We can not wait to come back! Highly recommend

The food... read more It is a small, nice place in a really beautiful part of Zurich's city centre. Sadly, we were expecting a lot more from a one-star Michelin restaurant. The food was good, although the menu was limited. It is an omakase-style restaurant with a changing menu. You'll enjoy a nice dinner, but it's no better than what you could get in a regular Japanese restaurant. The menu is quite expensive, and the service could be significantly improved. They misinformed us when we made the reservation, telling us that it would be much cheaper than it actually was (the menu is 290 CHF and they told us it would be 150 CHF, plus a 120 CHF for a quite ordinary bottle of white wine). Although they eventually agreed to charge us the agreed price, it was an extremely uncomfortable situation and the waiter handled it very poorly.
