It is a place to sit with friends and have coffee, wine or other drinks, to eat some good food and to have a conversation. Staff are friendly and easy to go, the menus change daily and... You are welcome to stay as long as you want. The art of dwelling is usually lost. This beautiful, inconceivable place offers it in spades. Even a gas lamp at night. Feels like this expat in Europe!

This sweet and quiet café... read more The Cafe Meierei is a bit hidden on a side street and also includes the wine garage. Bus #33 is your nearest public transport option. This sweet and quiet café has a wonderful hostess; that could not have come before. Although they usually don't have milk substitutes, the hostess informed me that they can be ordered easily, but they don't receive many enquiries at the moment, so it is not currently in the menu. I had a cold beer (6CHF). The hostess even gave me a package of bread sticks with my beer. Hot and cold drinks, beer, a wine corner, breads, snacks, fruits and more are in the menu. Daily newspapers, magazines and local flyers are available. Free secure Wi-Fi, clean toilets and a wonderful staff await you. A nice, quiet visit. Very recommended!

I think it possible to grab a bottle and drink it at the Restaurant.
