What Jordi Lovato doesn't like about Bodega Española:
I'm Spanish and when I go to a Spanish restaurant I expect to eat decently cooked Spanish food. It is an insult to Spanish cuisine to go to La Bodega Española and have to eat badly cooked microwave food. You never ever ever heat croquetas in the microwave, as they become soggy and rancid. An absolutely fabulous experience here. We shared a table with folks from Russia and Germany and Switzerland. We managed to order everything in a combination of English, German, and Spanish. Absolutely worth a visit
We went with a group of 12 and had a great evening. The food was tasty, the table allowed roughly 6 people to easily be part of the same conversation. The service was very friendly.
