Always very busy, so be sure to reserve. The cocktails are wonderful and all freshly made with the best ingredients. Very friendly service who is also happy to give tips on drinks. With your meal you can order a wonderful platter with olives, cold cuts, bread and cheese. In addition, water is always refilled free of charge and snacks are refilled. nice place but too rude waiters. refused to serve a friend's birthday when we were already at the bar placing an order. We didn't interfere with the clever ones, we drank our female company and they turned out to be sexists View all feedback.

My favorite bar in Zürich. The staff is really kind and serves also water and some snacks once you order. The quality of the drinks is optimal and there is really wide range of drinks to choose from. Also, there are different glasses depending on the drink you choose. Given that it is not cheap, I can definitely recommend investing 2-4 CHF more to come here.
I was in Zürich for a few days and decided to go to Tales Bar on a whim. I was happy the first time I went here and visited again the next evening! Talk about being a repeat customer on your very first visit! I asked for options based on my general likes, and I was served cocktails that were surprising and excellent! Water and nibbles are complementary. Mother-in-law is an amazing cocktail! Highly recommended if you like the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. Go for it! That was my first cocktail here and it set the expectations high up. And it kept going! The Tales Bar has a cosy, welcoming atmosphere, and conversation with the owners is easy and engaging. And the cocktails are superb! Go by the menu or off it — you will not be disappointed. I'm surely coming back here on my next visit to Zurich, even if I'm just passing through! Cheers!
