Awful service!! As we came to the restaurant, manager started being rude to our family and shouted at my brother. We were very disappointed with this service and just left. We had the octopus and rib eye steak. Both were incredibly good. Recommend the fig old fashioned cocktail too Meal type: Dinner
Despite the bad weather, Jakša contacted me to ensure that we would have a table in the beautiful indoor area. In addition to this, I was able to have octopus Peka for one person which is not normally possible (which I greatly appreciated! . Special mention for the beef tartare it was incredible The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming and the food was heavenly. A large party (20+ people arrived during our meal and we were gifted a bottle of wine for the disruption (even though there was no disruption at all! . Local seasonal ingredients form the basis of the food offering which is carefully prepared and well presented, and the tastes are subtle and distinct. We had lamb and veal Peka (which must be ordered the day before as it is slow cooked). Together with the potatoes the dish was delicious. We loved the explanations and information provided about each of the dishes we ate and seeing how Peka was prepared and watching it opened before us was a lovely experience. Some may balk at the price, but quality and the time devoted to the food make it more than reasonable! One of the best meals we have eaten in Croatia.
Kudos to the whole team! The tavern is accompanied by various details, beautifully decorated and what I like to notice extremely clean! I am very glad that we visited her because she rounded off our trip and filled it with positive emotions. In addition, I am very glad that the food, which is very tasty, is accompanied by an extremely hardworking and accommodating owner who made our dinner even better. Congratulations to the whole family and team. Good luck in your future work, and I hope to see you again!
