Nothing very special but friendly , good atmosphere location. Went twice, first visit better as often seems the case. Best dishes were different risottos

A ‘Terrible’ rating because of: 1. Poor service 2. Poor food 3. Completely oblivious to any form of customer consideration Staying in the village for a week, we tried a few of the restaurants close by our hotel. We had been to Le Bistrot du Pêcheur earlier on in the week and had a very enjoyable meal in the, then, busy sea-front restaurant. It’s Saturday night and as was good first-time around, we decided to re-visit. This time, restaurant is empty. Other restaurants up and down the street are busy. We ask for a table next to the beach. The only two people is 'reserved '. The other tables next to the sea are laid for four people. We asked twice, making it clear that we would like to sit next to the sea. The waiter was not prepared to accommodate us. We should have left then. We ended up sitting at another table. We spent all of our meal looking at the other empty tables. My wife and I both chose the lamb stew with cous cous. Mine was very good. My wife’s was not. No one else in the restaurant yet. The lamb was chewy, gristly, sinewy. We let the waiter know. The same guy that served us last time. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. We let the other waiter know. He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. No one else in the restaurant. They took the plates away. I would have liked a second glass of wine; neither waiter bothered to ask or was available when I wanted to ask for one. We had a desert. It was ok. No one else in the restaurant. The waiters were absent. One person turns up and sits at the 'reserved ' table. A waiter comes back and offers us a digestif. We accept. We would like the bill. The mosquitoes start biting. No attention from either of the waiters. We get up to go. That’s always a good way to get a waiter’s attention. Standing at the front of the restaurant, the bill arrives. I make it clear that charging for the poor main course is not good. The waiter goes and speaks to someone across the street. They want the money – ‘the digestif was in lieu of a bad main course’. I can get by in French; but I cannot argue in French. If you can argue in French, go to this restaurant if you so choose, and try your chances. If you cannot. Go elsewhere. They do not value customers here. 1. Poor service 2. Poor food 3. Completely oblivious to any form of customer consideration Adieu.

Great fish place, great location, but staff cant speak English, nor does the restaurant have an English menu :

Les restaurants de la plage de Pinarello en haute saison sont pris d'assauts tous les soirs et si vous n'avez pas réservé, il sera plus compliqué d'avoir une table et l'espoir d'une vue mer, néanmoins le Bistrot du Pêcheur a été le seul à nous avons trouvé une table en première ligne un samedi soir. Notre serveur était très aimable et attentionné, la carte est variée , de bons vins, les produits frais, un grand plus pour l'Assiette de jambon corse, à se damner... nous y avons dîné deux fois et les deux fois avons passé un très bon moment.

Nous avons passe une bonne soiree. Nous avons assiste au soleil couchant depuis notre table. Mention speciale pour l entree a base de langoustines mangue et avocat. Delicieux filet de sandre et polentas et excellent moelleux chocolat pour terminer. Service convivial et accueillant. Bref on recommande !
