I put 'surprising' in the title because of the recent negative reviews I see here. Admittedly this is the first of these 'parillas' on the road up to the salt mine and cathedral and there are many others up the road which may be better...More View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurante y Asadero Sal y Gallina:
The food is not that bad but the service is terrible. They don't accept credit card but nobody tell you that. They don't serve soft drink in cups and you are not welcome to ask. View all feedback.
Enjoy local cuisine with 5 business people. Place has a nice feeling, but all meat dishes were dry and really not seasoned well. They don't tell you they don't take credit cards until after dinner. Much better food elsewhere!!
The hotel is located in the city with the unusual salt of Cathederal the portions here are huge. The grilled whole fish was a bit dry. Served with Avacado and a spicy side sauce. Classic potato/maize soup with chicken tasty, but a little bland. Meat plates huge. Extensive beverage list. Was so busy there on weekends, but service workers did their best to maintain. Several parking spaces nearby.
