Denny's - Zion
Denny's
Description
Nestled at a truck stop near Milwaukee, this Denny’s serves well-presented breakfasts and classic diner comfort—think hash browns, pancakes and burgers—with excellent coffee and a tidy dining room. Staff are frequently praised for warm, attentive service and going the extra mile despite being short-handed, though guests note occasional slow service. A controversial policy restricting truckers from dining in has been reported. Overall it’s a casual, family-friendly, budget-conscious spot favored by travelers and breakfast crowds.

The service was extremely slow. It took our waitress 15 minutes to start bringing us our drinks (coffee and water). One of us ordered a hot chocolate, which took over 25 minutes to arrive. The restaurant wasn't busy, and there were plenty of staff available. The food was just average. I usually enjoy eggs Benedict, but they were not good here. Overall, this location did not meet our expectations, and we typically enjoy dining at Denny's. Food rating: 2/5.
Great food and service! Amie told me that someday's it's a 15. I agree.2nd time here. Andrew, wonderful job on my Bourbon Bacon Burger. Niki is a wonderful server.Food: 5/5
Food was great, Niki gave us very good service with little wait. I was going to take a good pic, but waited too long. Highly recommend.

Denny's has really gone downhill since COVID and quarantine. We used to go all the time, but then they changed the hours. We thought our daughter would love to go there for her bday, we were wrong. The food was extremely low quality. We aren't sure when or if we will be returning. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
