Since there weren... read more After a lovely stay in Zingst, we wanted to take some delicious fish sandwiches home with us. On a recommendation, we went to the Kranichhaus. Since there weren't any sandwiches on display, I went by the pictures on the menu. I ordered four smoked salmon sandwiches and paid €28. The sandwiches were prepared in a section that wasn't visible. I received them completely wrapped in bags. When we unpacked them later at home, full of anticipation, we were shocked. A completely dry roll with a small lettuce leaf and three small pieces of salmon on each. Completely carelessly thrown together...without any sauce or remoulade, etc. You could only get them down with a lot of liquid. Selling such a sandwich for that price is truly embarrassing. That was my first and last time buying a fish sandwich there.

The menu is smaller in November, but all the more delicious for it. The ambiance is very charming. We felt completely at ease. A definite recommendation. We will certainly be back.
