We had a couple great rooms overlooking the ocean, so why rush out to breakfast? Instead, we stopped at this awesome traditional panaderia in the evening on our way back from adventures and stocked up on palmiers, pastries of all sorts, sweet breads, you name it. Combined with our free hotel coffee, juices and fruits we kept in our room, and that view, we started our days happy. On a side street close to the tourist... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Panaderia el Buen Gusto:
The bakery is on a house, but they do have a sign outside. I went around 6pm and they were just starting to bring the afternoon bread. It´s fresh and you have a nice variety however nothing really special. The empanada filled with cajeta/dulce de leche/manjar is good. The pastries filled with tuna were not available at the time so cant comment on that. They had rice pudding too but i didnt try it. There is no seating... View all feedback.

On a side street close to the tourist area but not right on the fisherman's row, it's worth the small effort it takes to find it. You can't believe the value, either--I wish I could ship it to my house overnight as it would still be a bargain.
I arrived at 8, the advertised opening time. Walked around for 30 min and still not open. So I found another place for the coffee and breakfast. La Palmera right around the corner. Very friendly and authentic breakfast with coffee. Hopefully you will have better luck at Panaderia Gusto.
En un sitio de playa el pan no es lo mejor, pero El buen gusto cumple muy bien y mantiene la calidad, la propietaria muy amable.
Delicioso, el pan casero, recien horneado, me encanta el baget y en general cualquier pieza es deliciosa.
