The pizza and lasagna are pretty much the best I’ve had anywhere on earth.

The service was friendly and... read more We had 4 evening meals at the Macumba all of which we enjoyed. On our last evening we had the Sword Fish which was extremely good. The service was friendly and helpful. Compared with other restaurants in the area which all tend to be pretty pricey, the Macumba is good value. Unfortunately, being near the end of the season, the restaurant was only open Friday and Saturday evenings during our visit in early October it was however open for lunch most days.

Found by accident on a boiling hot day. Really nice food: I don’t usually go for pizza but they looked so nice. Goes with a lovely small beach with turquoise water overlooking the islands. If you are going to Ajaccio to see the town where Napoleon was born drive a little further to have your lunch and a swim
