A fine dining vegan experience is not a common thing but it feels great. The place wasn't really busy but the attention given to us was nice. We both had a rice dish, both delicious, and we shared some rolls and dumplings. If the dishes do sound simple, they are deliciously cooked and definitely are made with quality products. All this for a very reasonable price. View all feedback.
Great vegetarian restaurant. Extensive (Asian) menu with English translation. Good quality of food. Tried the danzaimian and the dumplings which combined were more than sufficient for 1 person. The interior is nice as well so a good place to invite somebody for dinner.
This is a much more upscale environment than the former Meimen location in Ximen but it 's a step back in food and four steps back in terms of service. I 've visited the new location twice price point is a bit high but, like I said, it 's a nice environment so that 's to be expected. Service is seriously lacking. I actually needed to order three times because each time the dish I selected was not available today though it took 10 15 minutes in between orders for them to come out and tell me this. Food, which was good, took nearly an hour to come out and dishes came out spaced far apart. I was going to mention this upon paying the bill but a friend informed me that the waitstaff and likely everybody in the kitchen was working for free in order to volunteer their services to the restaurant owner who is a well known teacher of qigong which is an interesting business model but one I 'm not sure I want to support.
I would say that it is a quite authentic place When you enter there you are not really sure where you are, like, is it a garden, a little museum, a traditional restaurant where the prices are probably very high or it is a tea house? But it is all in one, except high price for the meal. A quiet place with vegetarian meals, nice price, tea. I would recommend to visit this restaurant. Also, they said that on Friday and Saturday (7-8pm) there is a performance (dance, music and other) but you need to book in advance if you want to enjoy the performance.
A special vegetarian restaurant with a unique interior design. The restaurant also hosts performances from time to time. The food is quite healthy, delicious, and unique. The vegetarian dumplings were rich in flavors. The price can be pricey for the amount of food one receives here. But the special dining experience makes up for it.
Nice ambience. Not overly pricey quite a few different price range of set menu to choose from (from 200+ TWD all the way to 900+TWD). Pretty decent tasting, the fried snacks are good!
