A solid spot for affordable and pretty tasty Taiwanese eats, including rice dishes, soups, and a multitude of small sides. Everything is pretty good, though some dishes, like the bamboo shoots and their braised pork over rice are much sweeter than I would like: the latter especially so, if you order it with the fish floss, so avoid that if you're sensitive to sugar. Braised pork, vegetables, and chicken soup with shetaki mushrooms were excellent in cute little renovated shop.

I came across this place from walking around Taipei Main Station. The menu was pretty comprehensive and items were inexpensive for the amount they offer. I had an order of oily tofu and honestly it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had because it’s actually not oily and has a subtle sweetness to it. They marinated it with braised pork and the taste was off the chart. Highly recommended.
Coming to Taiwan is not complete without lu rou fan. We tried in large size with two different soup. The lu rou fan is absolutely delicious with generous meat servings and gravy. Although rice is much for me but i am sure most customers can appreciate this. Food is tasty overall, reasonable price and service is pleasant and quick. Only challenge is small shop so seats are limited during peak hours.
The Braised Pork Rice was awesome! Rice was perfectly coated with the sauce and the pork melted instanteously Impressive! Dont bother with Crisp Pork Ribs Soup though
