Bergrestaurant Chämi-Hitta - Zermatt

Wir wurden vom Scheetreiben überrascht und froh als dieses Restaurant vor uns Auftauchte. Sehr freundliches Personal und der Riffelkaffee ist eine super feine Kreation und erst noch ohne Alkohol. Wirklich einen Stopp wert.

Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick aufs Matterhorn. Zu Fuss hat man ca. 50 Min. bis ins Dorf nach Zermatt. Käseschnitte war ok. Absolut top war der Apfelstrudel mit Eis.

Spontan haben wir uns für dieses Lokal an der Piste entschieden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir hatten das Glück einen Tisch auf der Wind abgekehrten Seite zu ergattern. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Die Rösti Tuttifrutti war sehr lecker. Alles frisch zubereitet und speditiv serviert.

Don’t let the plastic chairs in the terrace fool you, this was a great stop. Extensive menu and reasonable prices compared to others on the mountain. My husband had the roti and said it was the best on the mountain, it wasn’t presented as pretty as other places but the taste was much better. I had the warm cheese pie with salad, super! Simple and delicious. We will definitely return. Liked the low key and friendly vibe.

This place has great Rösti! We came here twice just to get that and the apple strudel. I would come here again for sure. It was our first time here and we spotted this place right away- it’s right on the slopes! Warm and inviting with very patient servers. Definitely recommended.
