This little restaurant... read more A family if three adults and two children, we chose to venture further afield based on reviews from TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. This little restaurant was friendly, welcoming, and offered great food at a great price. Three of us had the set lunch menu each. A chicken noodle soup starter was hot and flavourful with fresh parsley. The main was brisket of beef with plenty of boiled potatoes and delicious broccoli. Dessert was a little bowl of vanilla butterscotch pudding. We also tried the adult and child versions of Schnitzel. Both beautifully cooked with a large portion of fries. The adult one also came with a large salad that was freshly dressed, while the child plate had a surprise a little bag of Haribo bears! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our lack of German didn't hinder us at all as our waiter spoke enough English to help us. Definitely worth the drive over from Saarburg. Would visit again.
