Ther... read more Very attractive restaurant with partly visable beer making cisterns. So you can admire beer production and taste excellent beers from abbeys mikro brewery. There is also invating shady garden. The food is tasty, lots of local specialities, plus daily menu for a good price. Breakfast for hotel guests is served here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch

Unfortunately, almost everyt... read more About a year later, we visited the restaurant in the Želiv monastery again with the expectation that something had finally changed. Unfortunately, almost everything is still the same. We got the food cold, the staff can't always tap beer! (I really feel sorry for the brewer, because the beer is otherwise perfect. And nothing at all about the fact that the beer is not tapped with a baroque tap... Better not to comment on the chaos of the staff and some of their loud expressions. Close competition is quite similar. A real shame. Otherwise, a unique environment with a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful monuments.
