We made a rese... read more There is very limited on-site parking, so we had to find on-street parking. We were lucky and landed a space directly across from the restaurant. We made a reservation asking for a 6:30 time slot, but it was rejected and we were offered a 7:30 time slot instead. When we arrived at 7:15, we were offered a table in front of the bar and told nothing else was available. Not cool, at all! Not with a reservation! Wait staff came quickly, and we ordered Irish Rib Eye, and Asian Spare Ribs. We were told that all dishes come with French Fries and salad. The meal cost €80 for two, out the door. The bar was extremely busy, noisy, and distracting, so it was quite difficult to converse and not as comfortable as it should have been. Steak was well cooked and tasty. Ribs were plentiful, and tasty. Salad was good, French fries were fresh, so no complaints on the food or the portion. You will walk away satisfied. Took awhile for wait staff to clear the table for dessert, but they did a good job when they finally arrived. We ordered Tiramisu with two spoons. It was delicious. I will say that not a single table followed us, save one walk-in no reservation, that was offered a much better table behind us and away from the bar. The remaining 6 tables (at the front section of the restaurant where we were seated) went empty the entire evening as we left 15 minutes before closing. The lack of hospitality and graciousness appears to be a European thing. We have traveled the world over and never experienced this level of rudeness anywhere but Europe when it comes to dining. Undoubtedly, the staff understands how off-putting their behavior must be. Terrible! In any event, the food was good, atmosphere sucked, and the service left a lot to be desired. Wish I could recommend, but there are other options in town, and close by. Recommendation: OK, if you have to, but I would not return.

The BBQ ribs were delicious, and the shrimp croquettes were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. It’s been 20 years since we last visited and we hope it’s not another 20 years until we visit again!
