Bojangles - Zebulon
Bojangles
Description
A popular fast-casual spot known for juicy chicken, fluffy biscuits and well-seasoned fries draws loyal fans for its value and cleanliness. Service and quality can be hit-or-miss: warm, attentive staff and a praised manager often contrast with curt window service, slow rush-hour waits, missing items and occasionally cold or dry food. Busy mornings and peak times test consistency, but when the kitchen is on, the food shines—making it a convenient, budget-friendly stop for commuters, families and travelers.

I love this place but the day I went it was like no body wanted to be there. I'm also not a fan of a boss or whatever telling someone they're not doing their job well in front of customers (me). I don't know it was just a really, really off, bad vibethat day. The food was great but I did get unsweetened tea for some reason lol
Charles, whom I believe is the manager—he's the tall guy in the blue shirt—is the most patient and polite person I've encountered in a long time! It was truly refreshing. I'm from Colorado and visiting family here, and I'm genuinely impressed by his hospitality and the way he treats his staff, even though a couple of them appeared to be less experienced and didn't seem to have as strong a work ethic during the dinner rush. If he's in charge, he's doing an excellent job leading by example, and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Thanks, Charles!
The food was enjoyable and served hot. The chicken strips were large, and the fries had plenty of seasoning. However, the wait time was longer than anticipated!
I stopped by Bo's on my way to work since I don't often have time to cook, even though I'm a pretty good cook myself. I usually prefer hot foods right out of the fryer, but I ordered wings and seasoned fries. Unfortunately, the fries were cold, and the chicken tasted like it had been cooked the day before. I was truly shocked. I've been eating at Bo's for thirty years, and I've never had such a disappointing experience.
