This is a great spot located in the heart of Zaventem, perfect for grabbing drinks with a large group of colleagues after work. The interior gives off a classic local pub feel, but the atmosphere is laid-back with a mix of locals and nearby company employees. There is additional seating in the back for bigger groups, along with a variety of drinks and basic warm and cold snacks served by Dutch-speaking staff who also speak English and French. The menu includes Belgian-style finger foods like fried calamari, bitterballen, and currywurst. During the summer, there is a small outdoor seating area on the sidewalk, across from the church, although it tends to fill up quickly. Overall, this is one of my go-to spots for a casual post-work drink. Plenty of parking is available on Zaventem Church Square.
I had a great evening with my friends at this restaurant. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our meal and had a good atmosphere throughout. I highly recommend this place.
This restaurant is a great place overall. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can relax and have a good time with friends without any worries. I highly recommend this place. The glassware is also very nice.
I’ve visited this bar a few times and liked the atmosphere, but I can’t recommend this place anymore. The owner publicly made a xenophobic remark about refugees, which doesn’t reflect the values of a welcoming community.
