The place was packed on a regular weeknight. Although we had called just 30min earlier we got a nice round table for 4. A starter from the suggestions consisting of finely chopped tomatoes did not impress. The grilled cuttlefish with sweet garlic and breadcrumbs suffered from the same lack of tastiness. Ok but nothing more. Maybe stick to pasta here...? View all feedback.
Delicious pastas; like in Italy ! And finally a place with proper cofee. Cosy place, Service is friendly...
An Italian jewel. The veal liver was more like Foie gras with a smooth butter texture covered in soft flavorful onions but first I started with a simple squid salad covered in a very light olive oil dressing surrounded by a smidge of balsamic vinegar. Final encore tiramisu. Perfect!
Our conference organizer had reserved a table for 10 people, however only 5 of us showed up. We waited for 10-15 mins before anyone even showed up to take our order, but before we could order, we were told that we would have to pay for all 10 guests because the table had been reserved for that many people!! We were then reseated to a smaller table because we said we were definitely not going to pay for people that did not come LOL. After that it was just one thing after another...the house wine was bad. Thankfully, there were people in our party that spoke french, because that appeared to be the only language the staff spoke. The food was good, that is probably the only good this I can say about this place. When it came time to pay the bill, they initially said that it could not be split, and when they finally were able to do it, we had spent 15 mins trying to pay and leave!!! And the cherry on the cake for me was that the waiter put his hand to cover the total bill when I tried to take a picture of it with my phone for reimbursement purposes, since this was a business dinner. I have no idea what he said, since it was in french but a few minutes later he came back with it and the it looked exactly the same!!! I was pretty annoyed and thoroughly fed up by then. Never going to this place again.
I went for dinner here with a dinner party if a conference and had a thoroughly bad experience at this restaurant, which is clearly not prepared to deal with business customers. The waiter was one of the rudest I 've ever met, repeatedly making normal service our problem (payment terminals broken or empty so why don 't you just pay cash, refusing to print a receipt that you can show to an accounting department because 'we can only do that if you ask in advance ', refusing to allow split payments, trying to charge us for people in our dinner party that did not join while we had not made the reservation) and every time there had to be a long argument in French before he would go get the boss/patron and then the boss would settle half way so you still had bad service albeit not terrible. The house wine was frankly not very good, although the pasta was. Altogether I am never visiting this place again because of a uniquely unpleasant experience.
My favorite Italian restaurant in Brussels. No Pizza but a fantastic Italian Menu in a true Italian high level Ambiente. This restaurant is family owned and you can feel and see the love for the restaurant in every detail. Great wine selection at a fair price, high quality food with fresh ingredients and good service make this a place to return to. The chef incorporates changes to the dishes with ease and perfectly. The Restaurant also provides a small terrace and sufficient free parking. Restaurant provides separate rooms for groups as well. You will not regret your visit! Rarely I am so convinced of a recom!
